Hello there!

I am Katherine - an experienced Digital Marketer and Creative Visual Designer. I was born in the Dominican Republic, where I studied Advertising Communications at Universidad Iberoamericana. In 2012, I earned a Fulbright scholarship to continue pursuing my education in New York. I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and earned my Bachelor of Technology in Visual Communications: Art & Graphic Design + Business Management minor at Farmingdale State University of New York. I started my career as a traditional graphic designer with award-winning recognitions from The Annual SUNY Student Exhibit at Albany and other recognitions from SUNY Farmingdale. I have enjoyed transitioning my love of typography, illustration and design fundamentals into digital, web interactive and emotional online experiences. I like to believe I am what they call a hybrid-marketer: part technician, part artist. I like to resolve marketing challenges and design problems in order to create smart user interfaces and imagine useful interactions; my main focus is on creating solving-problem marketing strategies, art direction initiatives, and design assistance by developing user-friendly digital campaigns, ranging from the web, advertising, marketing, and editorial. I would love to hear from you about any projects or opportunities you think would be suitable, so please don't hesitate to shoot me an email: kzrdesigns@gmail.com.
